My Miracle Mantra

I am committed to maintaining Unwavering Faith that I will Create a professional photography business, and I will put forth Extraordinary Effort until I do, no matter what…there is no other option

The reason I am committed to my mission is because I will be able to live with less stress, enjoy my time off, and help Ron in creating and living the life we want to live together.

To ensure that the attainment of my mission is inevitable, I will remain committed to my process of working in and on my business 8 hours a day for 40 hours a week by creating and following my business plan, without being emotionally attached to my results.

I am committed to my mission and maintain Unwavering Faith while putting forth Extraordinary Effort, because I know that I am just as worthy, deserving, and capable of creating tangible, measurable miracles and achieving everything I want, as any other person on earth.

My Process Execution

What did I do today?

I woke up to my alarm for my medicine, shut it off, and went back to sleep. Finally got out of bed at 851am, a very late start to the day, but last night we went to bed after 1030. YIKES

I hopped on the computer around 9 and started doing the bookkeeping that I did not close out yesterday.

  • I am using the Profit First method, so I process all of the payments, invoices, and money transfers twice a month, on the 10th and the 25th, or the business day prior if the date falls on a weekend. If I was to give myself a grade for actually doing that, It would be an F. I do process the money at least once a month, but I am not good at transferring the Profit and Tax out of Pinpoint (my local bank) to my NavyFed accounts (the invisible bank). However, since the implementation of Profit First as my method, I have seen an increase in control of my finances, along with having less concern about how I am going to pay for products, business expenses, and taxes. My goal is by the end of 2020 (this year, and the 2nd full year of using the system) I will be able to pay myself for working. I have been setting aside the Owner's Compensation, as directed in the Profit First method, but I have not actually taken any of that money out of the account to use as a salary or paycheck. By the end of 2020, I will be taking 11% of payment for Owner's Compensation. Yea, buddy!!!!!

For the bookkeeping I processed and reconciled 2 invoices, and created 2 in my bookkeeping software, WAVE, annotated payments of all bills, and transferred the Tax and Profit to the appropriate accounts in my Invisible Bank. I am super annoyed that I cannot transfer money from pinpoint to NavyFed, that I have to request a withdrawal and do it by check, apparently they are still operating in the stone age.

219: work on USAJobs Resume

3: Laundry List Abs as a live video in my Facebook Group - Look Good, Feel Good

4: back to work on the resume, Ron got home around this time and he worked on homework on the computer, so I used one of m laptops. He made dinner and we ate at 8. We had Fajitas, his were shrimp, mine fish. The veggies were awesome, but I really am just not a fan of fish. Plus, we were watching some movie about a restaurant staff and how they decided to be big buttheads to the guests, and that was kind of gross, too, so my appetite disappeared pretty quick. Also, I really don't like when the salsa juice gets the tortillas all wet. I ran out of whiskey at this point of the evening, which was a bit sad, but I did finish my application on USAJobs. Once I submitted it, we went to bed.

Assessment

I will assess my process and progress at the end of every work day on this blog. To assess I will answer the following questions

What was my biggest win towards my mission in the last 24 hours?

My biggest win was catching up on my bookkeeping for the month of March

Did I follow through with my process?

I worked on a bookkeeping. This was getting the bookkeeping for the second half of March completed, which also covers one item from my task list.

I did NOT complete any marketing channel posts

I did NOT complete a Peak Performance or a Storybrand Session Lesson

What was my biggest area of improvement?

My biggest are of improvement was getting the totals for my Profit and Tax accounts for each month, quarter, and the year throughout 2019 to complete my transfers and have the money set aside for taxes, and paying back debt

Is there anything I could be doing differently or better?

As I work on the bookkeeping tasks daily for 10 minutes, I will be able to make the bi-monthly bookkeeping go much quicker, so I NEED to continue doing the 10 min tasks. I also need to be active in my marketing channels to ensure I am reaching my current customer base and continue to reach new leads.

What lessons have I learned so far?

It will be much easier for my to complete the marketing channel posts if I have a calendar and general idea, this is where a marketing plan would be the best product

Are there any changes/adjustment to my Process that I need to make?

Break down the tasks into accomplishable chunks

Is there anyone else I can reach out to for advice or feedback?

Review my mail workshop and see if there are any Joy of Marketing email ideas
