My Miracle Mantra

I am committed to maintaining Unwavering Faith that I will Create a professional photography business, and I will put forth Extraordinary Effort until I do, no matter what…there is no other option

The reason I am committed to my mission is because I will be able to live with less stress, enjoy my time off, and help Ron in creating and living the life we want to live together.

To ensure that the attainment of my mission is inevitable, I will remain committed to my process of working in and on my business 8 hours a day for 40 hours a week by creating and following my business plan, without being emotionally attached to my results.

I am committed to my mission and maintain Unwavering Faith while putting forth Extraordinary Effort, because I know that I am just as worthy, deserving, and capable of creating tangible, measurable miracles and achieving everything I want, as any other person on earth.

My Process Execution

What did I do today?

This was a pretty worthless day. Ron stayed home from work, so he used the computer all day to work on his homework and his regular work tasks.  I woke up with the alarm to take my medicine at 810 am.  I spent the morning scrolling through my phone while drinking coffee.  I made smoothies for us, but it was really more like sherbet.  I played Mario Kart and watched movies, not really paying attention to either, and practicing writing "What if today" on my small whiteboard.

I finally showered around 11ish, and ended up napping until 2ish.

I picked up all of the papers on the table, took them with my laptop over to the living room and started sorting and inputting receipts.  I identified how much, when and what we spent on the ducks, along with donations made in the past year.  There were a few receipts that go with either my photography business or with my Mary kay business, that I need to make sure I log correctly for my records and for taxes.  I also took all of the receipts for 2020 and started separating them.  All of the receipts for Mary Kay are in one bag, and all of the personal receipts are in another.  Since I enjoy bookkeeping about as much as I enjoy having my nails filed, I am resolving to spend 10 minutes a day on bookkeeping tasks.  My idea behind this small daily set is that it will make the amount more bearable during my monthly, quarterly and annual reviews.  It goes along the lines of thinking small maintenance everyday keeps it from being one large project a few times a year.

It rained most of the day, but since we decided that we need to increase our activity, we took the dogs for a walk around 4ish.  It was still raining, and was rather windy, but we walked a little over a mile, along the same route that I take the dogs regularly.  Ron walked Jiminy on the way out, and took Cricket on the way back.  He definitely walks faster than me at a normal pace, and I was out of breath, felt my thighs chaffing, and couldn’t keep up even when I increased my pace.  I finally asked him to slow down, because I just couldn't keep up.  Cricket started to slow down around the first corner on the way back, just a little over half a mile.  This was nice for me, because it meant Ron had to keep walking at a slower pace.  I know he was trying to walk fast to get the dogs exercise since it rained all day and they haven't been walked in over a week, but it isn't fun when your thighs are chaffing.  When we hit the last horse pasture, Ron's knee was starting to hurt, so we only did the one mile.

Ron made salmon, pasta, and green beans for dinner.  The salmon had a lemon-garlic cream sauce and was really good. We had enough to have leftovers for tomorrow night. We were also overtaken by flies.  I think it is because of the temperature change, but also because of the food smell. They were all over the screen door. We swatted as many as we could, shut the screen, but there are flies all over the place.  Cricket likes it, they keep him pretty entertained, but it's really gross.  Around 830ish, I wanted dessert and since I have been particularly bored, it was overtaking me. We ate some graham crackers with Nutella, we each had about 3 or 4.

The rest of the night was spent watching movies or shows, I am not really sure, I don't pay attention, and playing games on our phones.
